Deposits

Once you have submitted your booking request, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to pay a $20 deposit. This will be deducted from your service on the day. Your appointment is not secured until the deposit is received.

Cancellations

Please provide 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

If you are running late please send a text to the number provided in your booking email. Lateness may result in your design choice needing to be altered.

Any delays of 20 minutes from your appointment start time will result in your appointment being cancelled and your deposit forfeited.

After hours appointments

Appointments are available 10am-7pm Monday & Tuesday, with Wednesday and Thursday evening appointments incurring a $15 after hours fee.

No appointments are currently available Friday-Sunday.

Removals

If you currently have a set from another salon or tech, please ensure you have selected this in your booking request as this incurs a small removal fee and work from elsewhere will not be filled. Other salons/tech’s work cannot be guaranteed by Romantic, and may not be compatible with products used.

Your nail health is imperative with Romantic, a safe removal is highly recommended. Please note that should you arrive with damaged nails due to improper removal, your service may not be able to go ahead.

Designs

You will be asked to submit any desired designs or inspiration images with your booking request to maximise time at your appointment. Please note if you are including any other nail artist's work to include their instagram handle so they can be credited appropriately. Note that references will only be used as a starting point for inspiration, direct replications may not be possible.

Please note with love, that your booking may be declined if your chosen designs don’t align with the Romantic style and abilities. However, the Romantic experience is collaborative - a higher end service that is designed around your heart and hands, every effort will be made to create something you love.

Press ons

Press ons can be ordered via the order form. You will receive a price and a link to pay within 24 hours of submission.

Please be as detailed as possible with your request, and note that you are trusting me with your design.

Should you be unhappy with your set, you will have the option of another set being made or a 50% refund of the purchase price, to account for time taken to produce a custom set that cannot be resold.

Experience

Romantic is a one technician, home-based manicure service in Collingwood, Victoria.

Romantic is designed to be a soft space, and has been carefully considered to ensure you receive the best service possible.

During your appointment, the focus will be on providing a relaxing and peaceful experience. I aim to create a calm environment, so the session will be quiet, and no conversation will be necessary. This allows you to unwind and enjoy your time. Please feel free to put in your headphones or watch your favourite show on the television during your appointment, your comfort and relaxation is the highest priority at Romantic.

Romantic is home to 2 very sweet cats who are happy to have a cuddle. If you have allergies or don’t love cats, please make a note in your booking so they can be in another room for your booking.

One last thing

As I’m still developing my skills, I really appreciate your patience as I master my craft.

I will regularly check in with you to make sure you’re happy with how the set is going, please don’t be afraid to be honest - you have to wear your set, I want you to love it and constructive feedback helps me improve.

Any issues with a set that occur within 72 hours of service will be repaired, any damage outside of this time frame is considered wear and tear and will incur a small fee to repair.
